The Club prides itself on its boxing provision with alumni including former WBA Super and IBF Light Welterweight Champion, Amir Khan.
Boxing offers the Club members a chance to have fun, work on their fitness, develop discipline and lead a healthy lifestyle.
From beginners to those who box for fitness through those who show talent and represent the Club on a competitive level, boxing offers something for everyone.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6pm – 7.30pm ME3 Card Holders boxing
Tuesday and Thursday 5pm-6pm Girls only
Tuesday and Thursday 6pm-7.30pm Beginners boxing 14+
Wednesday and Friday 4.30pm-5.45pm Boys Boxing 7-11 years
Tuesday and Thursday 7.30pm-8.30pm Independence Group
BLGC boxing provision for schools
The Club’s boxing section has been actively working with schools for the past three years. The schools, including Bolton School, ESSA Academy and Rivington High School, come to the Club to make use of its expert staff and fully equipped facilities.
Following on from the success of this programme, the Club has been awarded the prestigious ABAE Clubmark Accreditation.
