YOUNG people with hearing impairments are welcomed at the Bolton Lads and Girls Club.
The club operates a successful Deaf Club, which is part of the Thursday Senior and Friday Junior Youth Clubs.

Youngsters travel from as far as Rochdale, Burnley and Ince, as well as from around the Bolton area, to enjoy a range of activities.

They enjoy outdoor activities and residentials and have the opportunity to learn life skills such as cooking, as well as taking part in the usual Bolton Lads and Girls Club activities.

Youth club manager Phil Marsh said: "We approached schools with specialist deaf units and invited children and young people with hearing impairments to come and join the fun back in 1994. There are now around 25 attending each of the two evenings."
