Events and Challenges Coordinator

£18,000 – £23,500 p.a. (pro rata)
3 full days per week

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Events and Challenges Coordinator to develop and deliver a programme of fundraising events and challenges to maximise income for the Club. You will thrive on meeting individual targets and have the flair and creativity, backed by strong event management skills, to enhance our events calendar and boost our numbers of supporters.

Fundraising Assistant
Salary commensurate with experience
Full Time – 35 hours per week

This is new position within the Fundraising Team. We are looking for an individual with first-class administrative and organisational skills. The post holder will need to cope well under pressure, be familiar with handling multiple priorities and, be able to deliver exceptional cutomer care for our Customers.

Prospect Researcher
£18,000 – £21,000 per year
Full Time – 35 hours per week
The Prospect Researcher will play a key role in the Income Generation team in undertaking a range of research functions to identify a variety of potential financial supporters, including grant funders, corporate organisations, and Major Donors. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to interpret large amounts of data from online and paper-based resources, combined with the ability to engage with potential stakeholders. The role will also include maintaining a bank of accurate and current statistics on local and national youth issues to be used in written funding applications.

SEN Worker

SEN Worker
Salary: £7.20 – £9.85 an hour depending upon experience
Part Time/Sessional – (Evenings / Weekends)

We are looking to appoint a SEN Worker to support and engage young people with Disabilities and Learning Disabilities within Bolton Lads and Girls Club youth club provision, taking into account young people’s individual needs.

The successful applicant will deliver an exciting, engaging and inclusive activity programme that will challenge, stimulate and provide new opportunities for young people who attend open access youth work activity, in line with the Youth Club’s strategic Operational Plan. In addition, they will work closely with the Youth Service Lead to develop a diverse activity programme to meet the needs of the young people aged 8-12 in Junior Club or Senior Club 12-19 (up to 21 for disabled young people).

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the largest youth club in the UK. The role will involve predominantly evening and weekend work, and will require an individual to prepare and serve great food for the young people that attend the club in the day-to-day running of the Club’s café and catering function, in accordance with the aims and objectives of BLGC and relevant Health & Safety and Hygiene regulations.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and talented individual to join our NCS team to recruit young people throughout 2016 – 2018, in line with set targets, ensuring thousands of young people from Bolton’s diverse communities contribute towards a more cohesive society.

If you have strong marketing and communication skills to engage with schools, colleges and other youth settings to champion and drive the recruitment of young people onto the NCS programme and build a network of contacts and secure agreed numbers of young people from ‘expressions of interest’ through to full sign up – then we would love to hear from you!
