Mentoring Co-ordinator (x2) 

Hours: 35 hours – flexible to include evenings

Status: Full time, permanent

Salary: £20,000 – £24,000

Closing Date: 12 noon – Friday 15th September 2017

Team BLGC are seeking to appoint an experienced and innovative individual to join one of the most successful youth organisations in the UK in the role of Mentoring Co-ordinator.

The Mentoring Project is an award-winning intervention programme, supporting vulnerable children and young people who lead very complex lives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a cohort of around 25 children/young people and their volunteer Mentors at any one time.

Youth Club Cook

Hours: 25 hours per week (3pm-8pm)

Status: Part time

Salary: £7.50 – £9.00 (Dependent on age and Experience)

We are seeking a part time cook for our evening youth club. Someone with a passion for food and enjoys cooking ‘home cooked’ meals, quick to engage in conversation, personable and friendly. Behaviour Support Mentor

Hours: Please refer to Job Description

Status: Part time sessional

Salary: £7.20 – £9.00 (Dependent on age and Experience)

Closing Date: Friday 18th August (Provisional date for interviews Friday 25th August)

We are seeking a part time behavioural support mentor who genuinely believes that all children and young people have the potential to achieve and develop and has a passion for encouraging and motivating children.

The behavioural support mentor will provide additional support to our members who need help with behaviour management to overcome barriers to positive engage with other children, achieve their full potential or accessing our play provision in a positive way including rewarding and praise. The Behaviour Support Mentor will work as a member of our Junior Club team to provide support to primary age children, and families at an early preventative level, within our 8-12 provision in our Centre. Delivering a creative and nurturing programme of activities and implementing effective support strategies, with the ultimate aim of enabling Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC) to deliver the best service and offer for our members.

Outreach and Detached Lead Worker

Hours: 15 hours per week

Status: Part time/Sessional

Salary: £10.00 – £12.00 per hour (Dependent on age and Experience)

We are seeking a dynamic experienced youth worker to lead our Outreach and Detached service, with a passion for providing positive activities and engagement for children and young people. This role will include activity planning and delivery of a diverse, varied and quality programme, leading a team of part time staff and volunteers with the ultimate aim of enabling Bolton Lads & Girls Club (BLGC) to deliver the best service and offer for our members in the Astley Bridge area of Bolton. This role is a range of centre based and detached sessions across Bolton in line with funding agreements.
