Bolton Lads & Girls Club is a proud deliverer of the Office for Civil Society’s National Citizen Service programme for young people as part of a consortia with The Challenge Network and Salford Foundation. We have an exciting opportunity for ambitious and talented individual to form part of our NCS team tasked with recruiting young people for four full model and seven compressed model programmes throughout 2015 – 2018, in line with set targets ensuring thousands of young people from Bolton’s diverse communities to contribute towards a more cohesive society.
We also have a number of exciting Summer roles to help us deliver NCS programme. NCS is a youth development and community action programme that brings together 15-17 year olds from different backgrounds, challenges them physically and emotionally, develops skills and builds their sense of responsibility resulting in them choosing to make a difference in a local community. The programme is growing rapidly across the country and is part of the Governments Big Society agenda. BLGC are tasked with delivering NCS programmes throughout 2015, working with hundreds of young people from diverse communities to contribute towards a more cohesive society.
