The Patrons Society
The Patrons Society was established in 1993 to provide a regular source of income towards the running costs of the Club. It has become a wonderful support for the Club, providing guaranteed, ongoing annual income so that we can plan ahead.
All Patrons are named on individual brass plaques at the entrance to the Club and are listed and thanked in the Annual Report. We also hold an annual dinner for all our members of the society. In addition to this our Corporate Patrons are given a link to their website from ours.
We are very close to our Patrons, providing them with regular reports on the Club's activities and inviting them to events and into the Club to meet members and feel part of the organisation. Some come often, others we rarely see, but they all care very much about the Club and the young people of Bolton they are helping.
The Patron Society money is put to good use helping young people who can really benefit from the Club. There is no doubt that for many members, the Club is a lifeline.
