Bolton Youth Enterprise Academy has been developed to encourage young people to realise their own potential through innovation and establishing skills for working life. The Enterprise Team run a number of interactive sessions and workshops to help young people develop their ability, ambition and attitude.

Taste of Enterprise: Sessions include looking at enterprise skills such as team building, networking, negotiating, planning and problem solving.

Enterprise projects: Me and My Money, £10 Challenge, Speedway, Leap photo Project, O2 Business Project, Warburton’s, O2, Tesco, Mark II.

Schools / Youth Enterprise Programmes: The Enterprise Team run a number of tailored sessions for schools and other agencies including ‘Achieve IT’ (Employability Skills), ‘Bank IT’ (Financial Literacy Skills) and ‘Create IT’ (Enterprise Challenges).

What’s on?

Neighbourhood Learning / Financial Literacy:
The Neighbourhood Learning Project is a free, 6 week workshop aimed to increase a learner’s confidence to manage their own money as well as to develop key skills for independent living. This is a non accredited course that focuses on developing soft skills such as confidence and communication skills. Learners must be aged 19+, not currently in employment, education or training and living in Bolton. The next course starts on Thursday 10th March at 5.30pm. Please call to book your place
